^ Well, the producers abandoned the idea of an animated Buffy some time ago, so mercifully we won't be subjected to it, but someone got hold of the trailer they made and posted it on YouTube for whatever reason. Edited by Jedikatie, 4 Aug 2008, 09:57.

You know, my dad is watching the premiere episode of Monk right now on USA (it's a rerun), and the actor who's playing St. Clair, who is running for San Fran's mayor in this episode, could be a John McCain impersonator, I think... he resembles him quite a bit. Just something I noticed as I walking past the TV... |

Okay, I was flipping through the channels and happened across WKRP in Cincinnati being aired on WGN. I didn't think anyone still showed that, especially since there was all the rights issues over the music played during it and artists not wanting their stuff to be in the show anymore... Granted, it is the re-edited version (after seeing the bit with Johnny and Venus in the booth) with different music than what was actually played originally--and boy, they totally used someone else for Johnny's voice when they had the bit where he was saying what he'd been playing... |

You know, Eureka's premiere kicks butt even against the rest of Sci-Fi's line-up a few weeks ago: Top Ten Sci-Fi Channel Shows (July 28-Aug 3) 1. Eureka 2.1 2. Ghost Hunters International 1.6 3. Dragon Wars 1.5 4. ECW 1.4 5. Heatstroke 1.3 6. Stargate Atlantis 1.3 7. Dragon Sword 1.1 8. Scare Tactics 1.0 9. Doctor Who 1.0 10. Star Trek: The Next Generation 0.9 |

Has anyone been watching Middleman? I've caught the last two episodes on the recommendation of a friend of mine and have found it to be refreshingly fun... |

^ I saw the trailer for it before Get Smart in the theater... That kind of reminded me of an X-Files/Men in Black ripoff, at least based on what they showed in it, so I just sort of rolled my eyes and promptly forgot about it, actually... |

Initially, I thoughts so as well which is why I didn't get around to watching it. While it does have some MIB feel to it at times, it's actually quite amusing (or at least I think so). Rather than just dealing with aliens, they're dealing with a variety of threats, many of which are akin to super-villains and the like. |

It's tonight on ABC Family, but beyond that? I dunno. I've got my DVR set up to record the first run episodes so I don't have to try and remember when it's on... |

Is anyone else planning on checking out the new Sci-fi show Sanctuary with Amanda Tapping? I'm not sure about the dark hair. And is it just me or does it sound like she puts on an accent in the previews? |

Hadn't really given it much thought. Though I do agree that she looks odd with the dark hair. I haven't actually been watching Sci Fi (or anything else on TV, other than sports) lately, except for Eureka... |

TV Land's showing the old reruns of Third Rock from the Sun. Apparently they're showing them at 8:30 in the morning (don't ask me why they're showing them then, when it's a new show to their channel). I'd forgotten how hilariously funny this show was... |
