I thought it was pretty good. Sort of figured he would end up with the um...all that stuff back in his head.

For those interested, the star of the show, at least, seems to think that their chances of getting renewed are pretty good, from what Ausiello reports:

Zach Levi on Chuck pickup: "Chances are good"

Well, those who were hoping that NBC would announce whether or not Chuck would be picked up for another season with the rest of their line up today, you're going to have to wait til 19 May to find out, according to Ausiello...

The one tidbit that the NBC execs did say was that Heroes would be paired with a new show on Mondays, so if it does come back, it likely will be on another night.

For those wondering:

Chuck lives! NBC orders 13 new episodes

ETA: And from Ausiello:

It's official: NBC renews 'Chuck' (but there's a catch)

May 17, 2009, 07:55 PM | by Michael Ausiello

Categories: Chuck

Never underestimate the power of a $5 footlong.

NBC has finalized a deal to bring Chuck back for a third season, multiple sources confirm.

That's the good news. Here's the bad news: The 13-episode pickup came after Warner Bros. agreed to make significant budget concessions, including scaling back the number of episodes several members of the show's stellar supporting cast will appear in and, per one insider, possibly eliminating one actor altogether (R.I.P. Anna Wu?). The show is also expected to cut two of its staff writers.

But back to the good news: Chuck lives on! Celebrate in the comments section!

I wouldn't mind a trimming of the cast, as long as Chuck, Sarah and Casey remain. I wouldn't mourn the passing of Morgan for example, or some of the other Buy More people (except Anna Wu for reasons of cuteness).

'Chuck' exclusive: Angie Harmon wants Capt. Awesome dead!

Captain Awesome is in danger of becoming Captain Deadasadoornail if this latest Chuck casting scoop is any indication: Ex-Law & Order ADA Angie Harmon has signed on to guest star in this season’s fourth episode as Sydney, a spy for the Ring who wants to whack Ryan McPartlin’s awe-obsessed alter ego.

Oh yeah! Another babe on Chuck!

From Ausiello:

Breaking: NBC ups 'Chuck' order

Quote:

My dream Chuck scenario is starting to take shape!

Sources confirm that NBC has ordered six additional episodes of Chuck. That’s on top of the 13 eps the network previously ordered, bringing the show’s season 3 total to 19 (just three shy of what’s considered a full season).

Today I saw the Chuck episode with Tricia Helfer ( ). I hope her character comes back since there was a certain attraction going on between her and Casey. And Casey could need a little bit of lovin'...

In related news, Levi will have a new love interest in the new season. He talked with TV Guide about changes in the show, including working with Kristen Kreuk, who played Lana Lang in the CW’s Smallville.

As much as I think Kristin Kreuk is adorable, and that I look forward to more Chuck, I'm weary about yet another love interest for Chuck when he and Sarah almost did it last season and they should focus on that pair. I hate this will they/won't they crap.

I just saw this (missed it the other day) and it looks like an interesting and fun new season. And with Angie Harmon, Kristin Kreuk and Mini Andén...

Oh, it was funny to her Yvonne Strahovski speak with her real Aussie accent. Très sexy! Rowr! My, this show is shock full of hot women, and is fun to boot. Just dial down on the angst, will ya...
