I gotta wait to watch it online or on Video On Demand because The Mentalist is on at the same time. I have no way of recording it and for whatever reason CBS doesn't put online or on VOD.

At least USA is pretty good about showing stuff several times during the week following a show's first airing. You could always record it early Friday morning and then watch it the next day...

We have digital cable which means you can't use a dvd recorder or even a vcr to record shows. The only way I could record stuff is if I had a DVR cable box instead of just the ones we have now. Of course that means the cable company bleeds you for more money each month if you upgrade to a DVR cable box. And the bill is already ridiculous as it is and keeps going up and you don't get anything extra each time it goes up. When they do add channels 9 times out of 10 you have to subscribe to them which means, guess what, more money for them.

Did I just start ranting?

Anyway the 8 or 9 I do watch I can usually find online or on Video on Demand.

Ah, okay. Makes me glad that we didn't bother with digital cable even if there's several channels that I used to watch that was moved there by our evil cable company.

Apparently if you liked that old series from the '80s, Cagney and Lacey, you'll get a treat in tonight's episode, since the two stars from that show are going to be reunited...

They interviewed Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly on Entertainment Tonight this evening. I can't believe it's been 28 years since it's been on.

Liked new episode. I just wish they'll give a little bit more main story with new villain in it.

I got caught up on the first two episodes of the second half of the season. They were ok which is a surprise considering how much I love the show. They weren't awful but for some reason they didn't do anything for me. Gilroy does seem like he's going to be an interestin character though.

I agree the first one was a little weak, but second episode with Danny Trejo was awesome. So cool when Michael pretended to be ultra cool bad guy. And I like new main villain

Danny Trejo always does great as a sleazy guy. And that was pretty cool when Westin would snap his fingers and stuff would blow up.

You know, I totally forgot to watch it this week until after it was over. I think it had to do with the fact that was the day Mom came home from the hospital, and then bingo ran so late that I didn't even get home til 10:20 that night. I'll have to wait for it to be repeated sometime during the week and see what happened.

And a tidbit from Ausiello about this show:

Quote:

Question: You haven’t had any juicy tidbits on Burn Notice lately. Pretty please with yogurt on top? —Vanessa

Ausiello: The new season of Burn Notice will find Michael going where he has never gone before: Somewhere other than Miami! “Michael goes on a field trip somewhere in South America,” reveals series creator Matt Nix. And by South America he means “Florida’s foreign-ish areas.” Fiona won’t be tagging along, but Nix hints that certain unnamed “frenemies” will.

I hoped to see a little bit more of Garet Dillahunt next season. His character Simon really worked for me in season finale

Ugh. Seriously? Talk about a shark-jumping moment. God ... it's like every show I like is being turned into crap. :(
