When asked about whether or not characters from SG-1 and SG:A would appear in SG-U, executive producers and writers Brad Wright and Rob Cooper said on stage this afternoon: "Yes." So, while I don't know how, I do know they said they would be showing up. RDA was definitely mentioned as showing up, as was Gary Jones. |

As will Daniel Jackson and Samantha Carter... All it's saying to me is that they apparently don't have any faith in the cast they've got, since they keep bringing back the characters from the first show. And why exactly they need to have some singer as a guest star performing two singles from her latest album is beyond me... |

They did this with SG-A too, unfortunately! They even ditched Elizabeth Weir just so they could bring on Samantha Carter for a season. Morons! |

it looks like this people believe that they are still living in 1996 and it is still contradictory topic. It would me much funnier if they'll do just one gay character). At least it would be a tense to the rest of the crew... |

Yeah, at least none of the visual impressions I get from the characters jump out at me begging for attention. I'm hoping their performance will be good enough to make me care. Considering the otherwise distinct lack of space opera on TV these days, I hope this won't be too bad. |

The heck with it just being space opera, there's a distinct lack of good television period. Alas ... |

I never had much interest in SG:A, and SG-1 lost its luster after RDA stopped being a regular. Of course by then it's already become a parody of itself... |

True of course. But I still want a decent space opera. Most of the science fiction made these days aren't very space bound. Sure I can appreciate things like Eureka, but what I want most are space ships, planets, aliens, space battles... |

The worst thing for me about this show is that it even doesn't trying to impress me somehow. It all just looks cheezy and has a huge sign of "Sci-Fi Channel" on the forehead |
