I haven't read it, but it does sound interesting. Let's just say, these aren't the typical Disney versions of these characters... It's an unique take on what happens after Danielle (aka Cinderella) marries her prince, and rewrites the classic female fairy tale characters--Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, in this case--into a bit more kick-butt type of characters. (The author in the article below describes them as a cross between the pre-Disney versions and Charlie's Angels.) Want to see a bad ass Snow White? Check out Stepsisters Even if you don't read the book, check out what I presume is the cover art for the book with the article. The three princesses look pretty awesome in it, IMO. |

It actually kind of reminds me of what Bill Willingham has been doing with Fables. Though, in that extremely cool comic series, Prince Charming is a serial cheater and married all three of the women (Snow first, then Briar Rose of Sleeping Beauty, then Cinderella). All three have divorced him at this point. |

^ LOL... So he was working his way through the various princesses, huh? I'm surprised he hasn't gotten around to the Little Mermaid while he's at it. Though she died at the end of her story (as opposed to the Disney version)... |
