Is that supposed to be for real, or is it just an artist's idea? Either way, it's amusing...

Makes me wish I'd gone to Mississippi...

Coolest mascot ever? Ole Miss wants Admiral Ackbar

ETA: And here's Zap2It's article about the same thing:

Admiral Ackbar as Old Miss' new mascot? It's (not) a trap!

I have no idea!

But the question remains: Would you by a used car (or a used droid) from them?

A newspaper over here called him Darth Pingu (because he's a black penguin among white "stormtrooper" penguins):

The war of Star Wars fans and George Lucas

(Okay, it's actually an article about a movie about the love-hate relationship the fans have with the creator of the movies, not exactly something 'fun'...)

Not sure if you'd define this as 'fun' but I thought it was an interesting article, especially since it mentioned Grand Admiral Thrawn in the bargain...

LOL... Who knew we had our version of the Death Star right here in our very own solar system? Or that it was actually Pac-Man in disguise? :guffaw:

Heh! I think that Mimas/Death Star look-alike thing was noticed as early as with the Voyager 2 probe.

And that lightsaber bookend would be perfect to have for your Trek book collection.

Probably the same people who actually used the Star Wars toothpaste they came out with 11 years ago (though I never used mine, it"s still in the package).

Someone had a lot of time on their hands, I think, to come up with this idea:

Awesome or disgusting? Star Wars AT-AT made of bacon
