I watched the first 2 shows of season 2 they're really dark and violent and I don't like all the fighting and seeing women and children being killed by raiders.

Some Legend of the seekers news It sounds like the Sister Nicci role maybe recast with another actress than Jolene having a recurring role here's the link http://legendoftheseeker.org/blog/163/213-additional-casting-call-sister-nicci

I think it's stupid to recast the character what's wrong using a 30 something actress like Jolene in the part sounds like age bias to me.

Is it an age question? Stupid. Jolene is a lot more beautiful than your average 20-something Hollywood starlet. Heck, I think she's the most beautiful actress/celebrity there is, period.

Not that I'm biased or anything...

Eonline had an interview about Legend of the seeker with Ken Biller here's what he said about Jolene Blalock's shows airing in January The Sisters of the Light and Dark Jolene Blalock is sexy and fantastic in two episodes that are part of a big arc in January. She plays a very mysterious character called Sister Nicci. We don't know for a while if we should trust her or not. Richard begins to manifest powers and abilities that he didn't know he had,and in order to deal with those,he has to seperate from the group,He goes off with the sisters of the Light to a place called the Palace of the Prophets.I'm so very excited for the audience to see the episodes about the Sisters of Light and Sisters of the Dark. It's very intriguing mythology that gets at the heart of wheather or not Richard is going to succeed on his quest and whether or not he's the master of his own fate.I think the show kind of gets betterand better as the season goes on.Right after Christmas we have a really terrific run of really exciting episodes.

Jolene is still going to be in the series. Apparently they're going to have an upcoming episode called Resurrection where Sister Nicci's character is going to tell her story to Richard in a flashback and they want a younger actress to play a younger Nicci.

Here is a link. But I couldn't find anything about a flashback episode with another actress playing Jolene's part. Where did you find that info, Reanok?

I just thought we ought to have a separate thread in the proper forum for Jolene on Legend of the Seeker. Mods, is it possible to split the posts here into such a thread?

There you go, KTR.

I don't think I can split the posts anymore than this (or at least, not without losing these posts), and I don't intend to go back looking for every LotS post in the other thread. It doesn't allow me to pick posts from other than the page that's currently active, unfortunately.

It's OK! Thanks! :)

I get the feeling that there will be more Jolene talk as the episodes air and wouldn't it to take over the Twitter thread.

Ken Biller a director for this series says they've combined storylines for season based on books 2 and book 3 Stones of tears. I want to borrow these books from the library to see how the storyline is different from the tv series.
