I watched the new show last night and was nice to finally get some more backstory for Shepard's character and I liked the scene with Rodney trying to get Shepard to talk before his return to earth for his father's funeral. I liked Ronin in this episode supporting shepard. And the part about the Replicators had some nice suprises in the show I wasn't expecting especially the end was totally unexpected. |

Well, it's nearly here... Connor's return to SGA is a little less than 2 weeks away, on Feb. 22nd. :) Can't wait to see what Michael's been up to... and what exactly he has to do with the return of Dr. Beckett. And Teyla's baby. He'll be in four episodes in a row (counting the season 5 opener)... |

Yey Gateworld has announced that the season 5 premiere with Connor guest starring as Micheal is called Search and Rescue. |

Gateworld has updated info about The Kindred I can't wait to see these episodes. It sounds like Connor character is going to be getting alot stuff to do in these episodes. |

Interesting, the trailer for next week's episode didn't show Michael at all. But they did say that Carson Beckett wouldn't make a reappearance until the final five minutes... |

Don't forget that the first of Connor's episodes is on tonight at 10 pm EDT. It also marks the return of Carson Beckett as well, even if it's only for a two-parter. |

^ Well, there may be some sap out there who hasn't seen the commercial. ;) But then, considering that's probably the cliffie of the episode anyway, they're not really going to see all that much of that particular person anyway tonight (because I can't think of a better way of ending tonight's episode than with what's on that commercial)... |

Micheal definitey looked more human in the episode and it makes you wonder how he found about Teyla's baby. And the wraith Todd now knows how Micheal is behind attacking the wraith brings up interesting story ideas for season 5. |

Paul McGillon in a new interview at gateworld said he's going to appear in 5 episodes spread throughout season 5.Connor's character seems to have taken along time to plan his attack against the wraith.I wonder what will happen next when we see him the first episode of season 5. :vulcan: :thumbsup: |

Well, we're halfway into season 4 here right now, and I've just seen episode 10 This Mortal Coil. I must say I've been rather underwhelmed by this season. I actually miss Elizabeth Weir, and I realized that after seeing this episode. So she returned as something of a replicator clone (memories and all). That would certainly make it possible for her to come back, unless the replicators destroyed "her". I don't get why all the duplicates had to act as decoys on the jumper. Especially Weir could've gone with the real guys, since she was the only one of her. I also miss Carson, even if I admit it's nice to look at Dr. Kaylee... I just don't like the changes that much. Carter is the new CO (because Tapping's contract allowed for another season, whereas I suppose Higginson's didn't), but she's not present that much. The Michael appearance was weird too. I don't like that he's turned into a Mad Scientist(tm) that made Alien-like creatures. Oh well, I hope the show picks up in the latter half of the season... :( And no, no spoilers please! |

Well, that finale reminded me a great deal of Red Dwarf. At least in two aspects. Pity Connor wasn't in it more. |

I was more annoyed by the obvious Red Dwarf elements (KTR, I suggest you don't read the following until after the season, since this is about the finale). I mean, John is "the last human left alive" (or at least, the last one who's something we'd recognize as being human), much like Dave Lister was and Rodney is nothing more than a cross between Arnold J. Rimmer, hologram of someone dead that John knew and interacted with on a daily basis--exactly like Rimmer and Lister did, even if Rodney and John's relationship wasn't quite so much hate-hate--and Holly, the ship's computer with the IQ of 6000, maybe with a dash of Kryten thrown in as well. I suspect that Connor will have a much larger role in the season premiere, but still, most of this finale gave me more of a "been there, seen that" kind of feeling to me than anything else... certainly wasn't something that I was going to particularly lose sleep over, waiting with baited breath for the premiere to find out what happens next... |
