Frick. I dunno how I failed to notice this and then respond... For the most part, I've had a positive reception in regards to this direction I've taken with her. A couple of people have expressed their hopes she'll get over it quickly, and I've interacted with a couple of other people who were hesitant about it, although they generally agree its not OOC for her. If nothing else, I've certainly got people interested in the direction of the story... Unfortunately as you know, I'm not able to even really look at chapter 8 for another ten weeks or so (depending on whether I get the info I need for my HistRes class, get a good solid thesis, get the outline done using these primary sources, and get the paper written with a quickness), so there will be a really long delay before the next installment. |

^ Hey, at least they're for the most part liking what you're doing. And I think it doesn't hurt any that you do present a realistic reason for her to go in that direction, and not do it because of a dream of something which may or may not take place... And no worries about not answering sooner, I know you're busy with your paper. |

Not including chapter titles (18 words there), this one story is over 76,000 words and there are still three chapters to go... |

And we've got the set up for a fairly climatic next chapter, between what Luke and the gang are going to be doing and Leia finally having her proof that Fey'lya was involved in some less-than-scrupluous dealings... :) Ought to be one wild ride... And I love the Noghri guys with their little cracks about what Luke and Mara are doing together. And the training with the lightsabers was hilarious... especially the part with the pillow... :guffaw: Hopefully your Muse will give you a bit of a break, at least for a little while, so you can get some of the stuff you need to do done. |

I'm impressed by how much you've managed to cram into this story without having more words in it, actually. Hopefully the Muse will at least leave you alone so you can get caught up on your schoolwork, now that you've got the climax of the story written... :) |
