I'm still waiting on a good photoshopper to help save the day... I'm afraid I haven't heard back from the guy who originally made them at all about it.
:( ETA: BTW, I finished my first draft of the submissions page. |

The buttons look fine, CX.
:) And the submissions page is quite thorough. I don't think anyone can say that you didn't cover it on there... |

Yes. It might be a bit blunter than I would have put it perhaps, but it does get across the point that those who are doing this have lives outside of the Internet and aren't necessarily going to be able to put something up almost immediately after something is sent in. |

I would correct the statement made, however, on the links page--Triaxian Silk is owned by Elessar, however, he did not create it. Dark_rain created the bulletin board and handled anything to do with PERL coding or mySQL, I did the CSS/html coding for the site, and chrisis1033 made the banners used on the site except for the one for the bulletin board, which I believe was created by krn, if I remember correctly. |

^ Don't feel bad. All you have to do is change one word--'created' to 'owned' in the sentence. |

I need help on one banner - the ones at HoT all suck because they're too short. If anyone has some Trip pics handy they think would look cool on a banner (or any suggestions on how to make the banner), I could sure use them. I'm afraid that I'm not in the mood to go digging through my TnT pics or through Google results. :oscar: |

What sort of Trip pics, ones where he's in uniform, civvies, half dressed...? And do you want them to be a particular size? |

Something in uniform, and it doesn't matter what size because I can always edit it later. Bigger is usually better so there's no pixelation, but if it's focused on his face or a portrait and only 200 pixels high that would be ok too since the final banner is going to be 100 pixels high. |

Aenar Trip Awakening Trip Catwalk Trip Divergence Trip ETA: Say, before I forget again--are you planning on using templates of the pages for adding fics to the different sections? It'll make it easier on whoever is adding it if they don't have to recreate the background, menus, etc., each and every time someone submits a fic. And what sort of comments box are you planning on using? The kind like they have over at TriS, or something like they used to have over at HoT? Or are you going to send them to the board to discuss the fics? |

Cool, one of those 5 should work. I'll probably stick him on one end and the ENT in drydock on the other with the HoT name in the middle. Templates: Yes, the anonymous help will have access to them just as soon as I can make them. Comment boxes: None. As nice as they are on TriS in some ways, I just really don't want to go through the added complication. After all, I have 6 separate sections. So as indicated by the link at the bottom of the test page and the index page of each section, I'm going to direct them to the forum to make any comments. The boss thinks that'd be better anyway because he's hoping more people will check out Nov-Net that way. That reminds me, I have to change the link at the bottom of all those pages... |

Couple things. First, does anyone know a code that would make the links on my link page open in another window? Second, someone suggested that I tone down my submissions rules. Any thoughts on that, or should I point them to Rule #1? :eviltbbs: |

Well, you could just simplify them to read 1) CX is always right. 2) In case he's not, rule number 1 automatically applies. Oh wait, that's basically what you've got already! :rasberry:  |

For the code to open it in a separate window, you need to stick this into the <a href=" "> portion of the code (after the link) target="blank" like so: <a href="http://www.jedikatie.com/enterprise.html" target="blank"> That will open the link in a separate window. As for the second, the tone could be moderated slightly, because it is a bit blunter than it probably should be. |
