I wished I knew what it was with celebrities and drugs. I think it's killed more of them than anything else.

:rolleyesrequest: They've got so many hardships in their lives. :rolleyesrequest:

I feel awefull for his daughter. :worried:

She dresses up like a cat and is exceptionally good at what she does. Further, she has a moral code (doesn't kill) which, based on what we've seen of the Bat's Rogue's Gallery, is not shared by most villains. If you look at the Bat's opposition, it generally boils down to one of two types: normal gangster-types and absolutely insane theme villains (Joker, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, the Scarecrow, Penguin, etc.) Catwoman falls into the latter category without being insane.

Yep Thats Catwoman. Highly skilled thief, whose not willing to kill, but still looks out for Ol #1. An can Give Ol Batsy a run for his money on the roof tops to. B)

I cant wait to see this movie. B)
Batman is my #1 fav Superhero. :guffaw: Probably because his only super power, is his mind. :guffaw: Well maybe Bruce Wayne's money is another super power to. No matter, Id take Batman over any super powered alien, or mutant anyday.

Heath really seemed to pull off the Joker really well, from what lil you see of him in the previews. Hopefully he's as good as Liam Neeson was as Ra's Al Ghul.
 BTW, Am I the Only one wondering if he survived? He is an imoratal after all.

I doubt we're actually gonna see Ra's again since they seem intent on grounding the reboot Batman franchise in a more realistic universe (or at least as realistic as you can get with a guy running around rooftops beating up criminals while dressed like a bat). The whole Lazarus Pit thing is a little too sci-fi/fantasy for the Begins universe, I think.

The one thing I really want to see in regards to The Dark Knight is a little bit of detective work from the Bat. That's the one thing they rarely seem to deal with in the movies, the fact that he's supposed to be this wicked kick ass detective. I dunno how they could really do it, but I'd like to see them show that a little more instead of the over-the-top, blow up Gotham City sort of stuff...

But that might just be me.

:vulcan: No. Your not alone.
B) After all his mind has always been his greatest weapon.

I think their gona any way, to some degree atleast. Since in part of that one preview, Their talkin bout how the Joker, has no ID, his prints, an Dentals arnt on file, an all his clothes are custom made. so theirs no way to ID who he really is. An Im bettin that They Have Bats break out his detective skills to figure out exactly who the Joker is,, Er Or was.

Yeah I guess That Ra's is good an dead. :worried:
Was probably a name that was passed down through the League from Master to master.

The thing I dont want to see at all in the Begins Universe,, are any of the damn sidekicks. :oscar: I cant stand Robin, or Batgirl for that matter either.

Batman by himself, can use fear as a weapon. But if Robin shows up, :rolleyesrequest: out goes the Fear factor.

Depends on how they use Robin and what incarnation. The newer version, Tim Drake, actually has a much better costume with darker, more subdued tones. Even his cape is more "Batlike". But yeah, I'm fine with them never introducing any of the other members of the Bat-family.

As to the Joker and detective skills, if they stick to the comic (which I think they are), the Bat won't be able to figure out who the Joker was because he's a blank slate before showing up. It would be nice, though, to see the Bat utilizing his Bat detective skills (little joke there...) and deciphering what the Joker was up to before it gets out of hand...

This has nothing to do with the trailer, but it's an article about the The Dark Knight which was in the The New York Times:

Joker:

In the actual Comic book series, Joker had been a young attorney and somehow fell into a vat of something or another and when he healed his face was what is seen today "Joker." He was hideous sso he turned away from being a good guy attorney and turned to a life or=f crime to fit his new image.

Actually, you're mixing up Joker & Two-Face there. In the comics, there was never really a solid explanation about who the Joker was or where he came from apart from the bath in the vat of odd chemicals. The Killing Joke expounded on his background rather nicely, and established that he was a failed stand up comic who had a very bad day that culminated in his chemical bath and the loss of his sanity.

Two-Face was originally Harvey Dent, the Gotham District Attorney and close ally of the Bat. He was horribly disfigured by a mob boss during a trial in which said boss threw a thing of acid onto Dent's face, resulting in half of his face being hideously disfigured. In later comics, it was retconned that Dent had suffered from multiple personality disorder throughout much of his life and this accident caused the latent "Big Bad Harv" personality to come to the forefront.

Rigel. Possibility but I remember a story line in which the Joker revealed that he had been a young attorney and fell into the vat or whatever. Never heard that he was a stand up comic.

I do go back a few decades more that you, Rigel, so it is not beyond the realm of possibility that different story lines were done and the later one was the one you read.

Actually not that unusual as there had been other changes in story lines of different comic book chracters over the decades.

Some wicked cool new posters here. I especially like the way they did the Harvey Dent one, knowing that he's doomed to become Two-Face...

New trailer is to be attached to Iron Man and is supposed to be officially online Sunday (I've see a horrifically poor quality version of it and eagerly look forward to seeing it on the big screen...)

Loved Michael Caine's line at the end about the Lamborgini being much more subtle...

Heath certainly seems to have a done a great job of portraying the Joker as a pyschotic killer willing to do anything to kill Batman.

Is Morgan Freeman supposed to be the mayor, or is he the police chief?
