Another thing, I really don't like those folders that tell you if there are new posts or not in a forum. Much too indistinct. But no hurry, chrisis! I know you have a life. I have made some adjustments to some of the icons such as the folders in the jolene1 theme... sith theme is next on the list

Oh, I discovered an annoying thing when you quote someone. There's no way to cut the quote into different pieces until after it's been posted. There's no way to do it in preview mode. Often you want to answer different questions in turn and thus you cut the quote. |

Make sure you are using the full reply mode and not the quick reply mode... and it should really be no different is still the same BBC code.....?? |

Nope, I did and that didn't help. The problem is that you never get to see all the coding, including the quote(s), in one post until after you post it and do it in edit mode. Try it and see for yourself ![redit][/redit] |

Ah, I see you've changed the little notepad things to larger file folders which are either empty or have a piece of paper in it to distinguish between no new posts and new posts in a forum... I seem to have a lot of older PMs I thought I had deleted that's now clogging up my PM folders. Anyway to get rid of them? There doesn't seem to be an option for that. |

^ I read something on the zetaboard forum about that, apparently they don't have a delete option for PMs. However, they state that you can move the PMs you don't want to clog up your inbox to the Archive folder instead... |

So they don't mind a lot of old PMs taking up space? The old version had a limit, and who can forget the constant yapping about cleaning out your PM folder at TBBS! |

:shrug: Beats me if they care or not. Probably if it either gets to be a problem, or if enough people ask (and there's been several inquiries about it already from different people on other boards, just in the couple of pages I looked at yesterday in the 10 minutes or so I was looking around there), then maybe they'll add it as an option in one of the updates. But don't count on seeing it anytime soon... I can see where saving some of the old PMs might be nice, but I don't think I really need ones from 2006, for example, that say 'oh can you make me a badge for Vulkon?' or something like that. I'm pretty sure I don't need those anymore. :P :lol2: |

Just a heads-up, Chris, I'm getting the "Address Not Found" error message a lot tonight when I try to log onto the boards. I'm assuming it's a server issue beyond your control, but I wanted to pass on the prob... |

Okay, if you've been wondering what happened to the board (if it vanished for you, and it may not have for all of you) last night and today, it had nothing to do with our conversion to zetaboard from invisionfree, nor did the server crash. Here's what they stated on another site (and also at the wikipedia entry for zetaboards) about what happened yesterday:
ETA: It looks like the service is still going to be spotty for awhile, however, so expect to have to reload quite a bit with the server claiming that the pages aren't found. |

finally back online... but its SLOW... apparently there was a huge server outage that not only effected these boards but many many other boards and pages... some server farm called.... The Planet... whatever/wherever that is Needless to say I have not been able to play with the settings very much since saturday morning.... but I am working on things |

We've got actual spoiler code on this board! :) There isn't a button you can press to get it (unfortunately), so you do have to remember the coding but it's easy enough to do. Just use this code around what you want to hide:
and it will appear like this: Spoiler: click to toggle Just click on the bar that says 'spoiler' and you can view it. |
