Last night since there was nothing on tv I wanted to watch I watched an old video of The Inner Light and had forgotten how good that show was how excellenty it was acted and that story was about family.I think Patrick Stewert and the woman who Played his wife worked well together. And the man who played his best friend batai and that Patrick's real life son was in the episode added something extra special to the episode. I love that music with the flute he plays at the end I have the Music sound track for the Inner Light.I liked what we learned about Kaatan and the Ressikan flute it seems harc to believe it sould at Christie's auction for over $ 40,000 dollars.  |

One of my all-time favorite TNG episodes. I also liked the actress/character who was his wife. His kids managed to avoid being the usual annoying TreKids and his adult daughter, particularly, was sweet and charming. His friend Batai was very likeable as was even the administrator. Picard clutching the flute, recalling a family and friends he loved but never had. A life he never lived and will always remember. Then he starts to play... heartbreaking. Posted Image |
