I'm glad there's a new forum to discuss novels I have to say it's hard to pick favorite novels but here's a few Diane Duane's novels the Wounded sky was so good introducing great characterd K'stalk and the TOS characters really get great moments in thia book like the fact the Enterprise leaves it's home galaxy and we get to see them really getting explore the final frontier and scienctific exploration. I also like her Rihannsu Novels they are really good. Ia also Like Spock's world and Doctor's orders McCoy being in charge of Enterprise and then mysterioously disapparing beacuse of one the alien species on the planet. they really truly different altogether from her previous books I like Spock & McCoy working as a team trying to find Kirk. And Resolve the problems with the klingons.

Hey chris, you should enable quick reply in these new forums, dude. ;)

My favorite Trek novels are DS9's "Fallen Heros" and TNG's "Vendetta". There was also a pretty good TNG one called "Here There Be Dragons" I liked. I think the most recent ones I really cared for were the two "Avatar" DS9 relaunch books, the three "Q Continuum" books, the Section 31 books, and "The Lives of Dax".

Moderate you, I will...

The Vulcan Academy Murders
My Enemy, My Ally
The Romulan Way
How Much for Just the Planet? (cracks me up everytime)
Dreadnought
Battlestations (these last two because it doesn't center on the usual crew)
Spock's World (I still remember how I copied the entirety of McCoy's speech out of chapter 9 of that novel because I liked it so much)

I've got others, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head...

I really like J.m. Dillard's ds9 novel Emmissary based on the very first ds9 episode you get to see more of the Picard Sisko dynamic from the battle of Wolf 359 and what happened with him trying to rescue Jennifer & Jake. You also get to see Picards reaction to meeting a survivor of the borg attack and the fact both men have to overcome the fact Picard killed Sisko wife when he was Locutous and the anger Ben felt simmering underneath ready to explode .Picard was suprises at at the strong reaction from Ben who I really felt for in that scene both men were traumatized by the borg. And that Sisko with the help of the wormhole aliens deals with his grief. I like the lives of Dax and the short story anthologies Prophecy & change and The Dominion war stories told from Tng characters and Ds9 characters they're really good books.I like several of the mission Gamma books. I like the tng books Imzadi and the one that's about Data. I can't think of the name right now. Peter David's book about the borg.

Nice list T' sara I also like Peter David's Imzadi it's one of my favorites as well as A.c. Crispin's novel Sarek. Also Corona By Greg Bear it's about a Vulcan science crew studying a nebula the woman T'Prylla is Spock's cousin and we see really neat Astronomy studies of nebulas in this book.

Sorry to hear about A.C. Crispin having a family emergency she has her own website announcing her new novels she's working on. The only autographed StarTrek novel I have is Vulcan's forge by both authors Josepha Sherman & Susan Shwartz. Oh yes and Strange New worlds 10 signed by Hopeful Romantic. :cookiemonster:
